You can use these colorful postcards to hand out to your students or actually mail them. I would recommend copying them onto oak tag paper. There are 3 identical postcards and even a back with lines which can be copied and glued onto the back of the postcards so that you can write a message to each student. Another neat idea would be to have students put them together, write a postcard to another student, and exchange them.

I have taught for 36 years at the 3rd, 5th, and 6th grade levels. Fifth grade is my first love. I teach all major subject areas. In addition to my regular classroom duties, I have taught in a Basic Skills summer school program for many years as well as taught workshops to co-workers in whole language and technology. My other duties at school include being "Teacher in Charge" and Student Council advisor.
