Make new acquaintances or renew old ones on the first day of school with this signature signing activity. It gets children up and about as they find out information about each other. The activity consists of 25 boxes with different descriptions in each. Students can collect all signatures or get 5 in a row like Bingo. You can make a competition out of it. A really fun twist is to give them a time limit and see who gets the most different signatures; then have them introduce each other to you and the rest of the class. It makes a wonderful first day of school ice-breaker.
