You made me laugh... I tried to make it so there were options and consider foods that were allergy free and also not on the non nutritional list. I know marshmallows are not healthy but we only have ten! And we can send the snack home if it is a day when non nutritional foods are not allowed!

Questions:Are the spheres Kix cereal or something else and did you intend to use them twice or are they 2 different items?
Do you have the students fill 10 frames for each item or do they just count on their own?

They are two different items. The freebie goes to a post that you can read about it! At this point in the year we do not need ten frames for counting to ten so we just count, group and record. Let me know if you need help.

We make 100 Day Trail Mix with it. We take 10 of each of the items listed and when we are finished we have a 100 day snack that we take to the park and eat!

I have taught Kindergarten for 12 years. Originally, I went to school to be a Science teacher. I had always worked with young children in some capacity and thought a change would be good. As I worked my way through school, I had several odd jobs. One job required me to go to a Kindergarten Conference. I didn't want to go at all! Interestingly enough, on day one of the conference I met Clifford the Big Red dog. It reminded me of the Clifford my dad gave me when I was four. And you can pretty much say the rest is history. I graduated with a degree in Science and took my first job as a Kindergarten teacher and I have never looked back since.
