I have been taking attendance using this method for several years now, and my students look forward to it. They are actually in a hurry to get to class on time so that they do not miss out on hearing their classmates responses. I originally had 85 attendance questions posted. It was such a big seller at $0.99, I have decided to create an entire school year worth of questions. I am selling 180 attendance questions for $1.80, or a penny a question!
I have compiled a list of questions that are designed to get students engaged in my class and to help me get to know them in a different way. I use these questions in place of calling their names and waiting for their traditional response of "Here!"
My students love this method of attendance taking, and have even helped me create some of the questions that you see in this document.

Are the questions in "85 Attendance Questions" a subset of "180 Attendance Questions"? Or are they two completely unique lists?

I am in my sixth year of teaching. My certification is in Math grades 7-12. I began teaching in an IB/Magnet High School in Rochester, NY where I taught Precalculus, Computer Programming, and Math A. After 2 successful years, my family moved to Florida where we could enjoy the sunshine year round. For the past 4 years, I have been teaching in a suburban High School in Florida. In addition to teaching Geometry, Algebra, and AP Calculus AB, I co-chair the math department. I am currently working on my National Board Certification.
