Have you ever spent $1.95 per student for consumable dictionaries? I used to and I got tired of wasting my classroom budget on something that I could put time into and use for, well forever! I made this student dictionay as a way to help my students write better and 'store' our word wall words, as well as save my classroom more than $50 per year! I put in the effort and now you can save the money too! Instead of $1.95 per student you can pay that just once and copy as many booklets as you need. There is a page for colors. There are blocks labeled with the color words that the students can color. There are pages with words from several categories such as animals, school, home, and many more. There are also pages labeled for students to record and use those word wall words! It can be printed in color or it still looks good in black and white. Good for journal writing & spelling words too!
There is also a page with my HM kinder words. You don't need to copy it but it's there if any HM teachers want it.

Help
I have been teaching for going on 13 years now. I have spent most of that time teaching first graders. I recently moved to Kindergarten & I love it! I am a very silly and creative person. I always want to do great things in my classroom. I love to find ways to create shortcuts that save me $ and time in the classroom. Most of my items were created for that reason. I either got tired of getting ripped off at the teacher's store or they just didn't have what I was looking for! I hope that you see something that might make your day easier or save you some coin!
