I found this flipchart for ActivInspire and adapted it to meet the Common Core State Standards. This flipchart goes with 1.RFS.2 Long & Short Vowels paper in my guide to teaching the Common Core State Standards which is available to purchase.
Students choose words from the white egg and decide if the word is a long or short vowel word. If they put it in the wrong spot, the word "pops" out and if they put it in the right spot a sound comes up.
