The unit combines phonics, Dolch vocabulary, and fluency practice. Teacher-led guided practice pages include repeated reading passages with both decodable words and sight word vocabulary. These passages provide immediate application of the focus skills. Independent practice pages and homework pages can be used to provide further practice. Optional language arts lesson plans and practice pages for this unit are also available.
