This is a great 2 day lesson to introduce/review the concept of "voice" with your students. I usually use this lesson before we begin reading "Speak" by Laurie Halse Anderson, but it can be used in any unit with little to no modification. The lesson includes:
- Minilesson notes on Voice with model examples
- 2 worksheet/activities where students practice identifying an author's voice, and using their own voice.
