I found this on the internet somewhere I don't know who to give credit to. I retyped the version and put up to date pictures on it. This is really great for writing different types of poetry.
This helped me a lot. Being a teacher to teach poetry for the first time, this was a blessing. It was simple wording and very easy to understand with an explination and an example. Great job!

I loved it for my students. Very simple and easy for them to understand how each poem is different and somewhat the same from the others.
so helpful for kids to do independent poetry writing in the intermediate grades

I love your 25 types of poetry, but I believe that Cinquain is misspelled.
I am a third grade gifted teacher with 15 years of experience in teaching. I love creating engaging and thought provoking lessons. I find that 3rd grade is in the middle and sometimes the workbook pages are just not challenging enough.
