Second graders love anything you ask them to do on the computer, especiallymusing the internet!
Here are 25+ websites (actually 41!) that second graders can interact with independently. The websites are mainly for math, social studies and science activities. Some specific categories of websites include basic math facts, money, time, the food pyramid, and space. This is not just a list of websites. A description and instructions for what to do for each website are given. All of these sites have been used successfully with second graders.

Help
I have been a teacher for more than 20 years. During this time, I taught math and computers at the junior high level and computers at the elementary level. I also worked as a mentor teacher and technology coordinator where I trained teachers on using technology in their classrooms.
