These downloadable phrases number 280 and are composed primarily of the 220 Dolch Words, which comprise 65% of all reading material. By focusing on the center of the two or three word phrase, most students are surprised that they can read phrase by phrase, instead of word by word. By printing these phrases on card stock paper, laminating, and then cutting the phrases apart, you will create a durable classroom reading resource.

I am working with adults who are just learning to read. Fluency is one of the biggest challenges. These phrase cards are really helping them phrase words instead of reading word by word.
