After several requests, I've tweaked my literacy center menus so that they would be appropriate for 2nd graders and 3rd graders! These centers are Common Core aligned and kids love them! With this pack, get your month's centers taken care of. Kids have a menu to guide them and help them keep track of which ones they've completed.
There are 4 categories: reading, word work, writing, and sentence building with a total of 16 centers in all.
Centers include:
~Read and Comprehend
~Read, Visualize, Draw
~Read and Sequence
~Read, Think, Match
~Make a Word
~Word Family Bus
~Real vs. nonsense words
~Picture sort (long and short vowels)
~Spin and Write
~My summer (narrative writing)
~Be an Author
~Sticker story
~Word endings
~Match a sentence
~Flip a sentence
~Sentence scrambler
I added in some activities for early finishers as well.
Also included is directions for the teacher, rubric and checklist.

I love your centers!! It allows my students to be independent and me to be able to work with small groups on more direct instruction. I just graded my Aug stations (also from you) and now am preparing the Sept ones. I love the rubric you include! My students love the activities, and I love them being on task!! WONDERFUL!! *Only one minor hiccup there isn't a "Be an Author" cover sheet.
