Do you want to display the new language arts common core standards in your classroom, but think your second graders will have trouble understanding the difficult wording? If so, these posters are for you! These 2nd grade common core posters are unique due to the fact that the standards cards are two-sided: one side is the exact standard written and coded for your records, the other side is the same standard written in "kid-friendly" language so that your students will be able to understand. (NOTE: I've taken great care in trying to preserve the meaning of the standard when I changed it into terms that the students can understand. I kept most verbage the same and used synonyms for more challenging words to help second graders understand!)
This document includes ALL standards for Language Arts (reading, writing, language, etc). Also included are: title and subject heading cards in two different color schemes for you to choose from, information explaining how to read the coding on each card, and directions on how to print and make the cards. Making the cards is very simple-- you just need to print, cut around the solid black line (but DO NOT cut the line in the middle) and then fold in half. One side will be the "teacher" side and the other is the "kid-friendly" side. Just laminate, if you wish, and display in your classroom to make the learning goals more visible to your students! You can display these on a bulletin board, in a pocket chart, with 3M hooks virtually anywhere in your classroom, or any other creative ways that you can think to display them! Be sure to download the product preview for more views of the posters!

Hello,
I asked about the missing 2.RI.1 from the common core second grade ELA kid friendly packet of posters . I did go and redownload but this standard is still missing. So sorry but can you advise me if I did something wrong that I can't find it yet?
Thanks,
Jennifer
I just realized that you purchased the Language Arts ONLY posters. I am so sorry that I didn't catch this earlier. I fixed this file so you can redownload it now for the missing poster. Thanks!

Hello!
I love you common core posters but would like the science and social studies in Missouri standards. Can you help? Thanks!
Lynn
Did you purchase the customized 2nd grade posters? If not, the link is below and the directions are included in the product description and on the actual product itself.
Hi Sue!
Thanks so much for your purchase. You will first need to save it to your computer. Next, to open the file, right click the file name and choose "Open With" Adobe Reader. That should do it!
Thanks, Erin

Hi, love your stuff! I am an elementary school principal. Do you accept P.O.'s? Akron Public Schools. Can you help me in obtaining a site license? Thanks. Joan Thompson
Thank you so much for your kind words. I am glad you enjoy my products! TpT does accept P.O.'s. Here are the steps to use a P.O. (this can be found on the TpT homepage at the top):
"Let your school pay! Available for orders over $20 only.
Step 1. Add items to cart.
Step 2. At checkout choose to pay by School Purchase Order.
Step 3. Download and fill out your TpT PO Cover Sheet.
Step 4. Send it back to us WITH your signed School PO.
Within 3 days of receipt of your paperwork, we will process your order and send the bill to your school."
When you refer to a site license, do you mean a multi-user license for more than just one download of an item? (Example: You'd like to purchase Common Core Posters for all teachers in a grade level.) If so, TpT doesn't offer this option yet, although it's coming soon. If you tell me which items you'd like to purchase and how many, I can put it into a multi-user pack for you to purchase (it will be slightly discounted). If you are interested in doing this, just send me an email at ec106302@ohio.edu with more details.
Thanks so much for your interest!
Erin

Do you also have 3rd grade available? I also think at one point a while back you had mentioned changing the standards slightly to meet other state specific standards. Are you able to change them to meet the PA standards? Thank you.
To solve the problem, make sure you do these two things: On a MAC or PC, install the latest version of ADOBE READER (link is below). Then, open the file with ADOBE READER. On a MAC, make sure to "Open With" ADOBE READER and NOT Preview. If it's still blurry, that's because you are still opening it with Preview.
I already own 2nd Grade Common Core "Kid Friendly" Posters- Language Arts posters and am looking at just purchasing the math ones. I thought at one point I saw them on here. Now I can't seem to find them anywhere. Is it still possible to just buy the math set?
