This is a great 3 day look at Shakespearean sonnets. Goes great at the beginning of any Shakespeare unit. The 3 days are broken up thusly:
1. Defining Shakespearean Sonnet and iambic pentameter - identifying IP in a Shakespearean sonnet.
2. Looking at love as the common theme in Shakespearean Sonnets - group translation activity.
3. Students begin to write their own Shakespearean Sonnets (this could conceivably last several days if wanted)
