Included throughout the chapter pages are basic comprehension questions, inferential questions, drawing questions, and fill in the blank questions.
There are 2 different page formats. One with lines so students can write their answers directly on the worksheet. The other has no lines so students can write their answers in a notebook. The choice is yours!

I used parts of this with advanced first graders. Some of the page references didn't match the books I had. There was more material than I could use, but it's nice to have options. The crossword puzzle was too difficult for my 1st graders.

I am glad you liked the variety of options. It is always great to have more than you need :) I woudl agree with you that the majority of the activities are too difficult for Gr1s. It is better suited for Gr2-4.
