Here is a game played like the traditional 'concentration' game, only there are 3 cards to match each time! Cards are made to show Place Value in tens and ones - there is one card with the 2-digit numeral, one card with tens and ones, and one card with a visual of the number in base-ten blocks. Children must turn over 3 cards at a time, all of which must indicate the same value in order to remove the cards. Easy to follow directions are provided in child-friendly language so play can be used in centers, small group instruction, or as a teacher directed activity. Provided number cards can be reproduced on heavy paper or construction paper. Makes 48 cards plus large task card.
