3rd Grade IOWA Core Literacy Checklists: Proficiency, Lessons, Assessments

This is a great organizational and planning tool to track of the IOWA CORE standards you have taught in English Language Arts throughout the year. This file contains page dividers and checklists broken down by cluster, domain, standard, and sub-standards.
Use this product to create a folder or binder to keep all Common Core Literacy resources.
On the checklists, there are boxes to track the date, lesson(s) you have taught, and/ or assessments you gave, that addressed that standard. There is also space to include notes about the lesson.
On each page divider are the anchor standards that grade level standards are based on.
To track proficiency, color code the boxes based on the percent of kids proficient at the end of the lesson (based on formative data) or assessment. Calculate the number of kids that fall in that percentage range to make it easier and write that range in the proficiency scale box.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE
I have been a teacher in my mind for as long as I can remember! So many times, I fought with my sister and her friends to listen to me teach little lessons and grade fake papers. "School" was my favorite thing to play! Now I get to play real school everyday! I have been a "real" teacher for four years. My second home is in a bright, colorful third-grade classroom in Iowa full of bright, colorful little learners.
