This zip file contains everything you will need for the last selection of the 3rd grade Friendship unit- "Teammates" by Peter Golenbock. You will receive a 33-slide PowerPoint Presentation to guide you through the teaching and comprehension of the selections, a Paideia Seminar with higher level thinking questions, a literature response activity grid (contains some products that require the use of Thinking Maps), and a story guide that outlines key skills you will focus on throughout the reading of the text, such as reading strategies and skills and sound/spelling patterns. The PowerPoint contains the Daily News selections,blending words, key questions, and other activities to make your students think!

TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am currently a Talent Development Teacher for my district. I work to accelerate and challenge gifted students in grades K-5. Through close relationships and careful planning and collaboration with their classroom teachers, I am able to effectively meet the needs of these high ability learners. Before taking on this unique role, I taught 3rd grade for four and a half years. Immediately after graduating college, I spent nearly two years working with special needs students.
