Here are a few suggestions as to how to use these 12 math vocabulary puzzles:
Assign the crossword puzzle at the start of a unit as a warm-up
Assign the crossword puzzle at the end of a unit as a vocabulary review for the upcoming exam
Once students finish a test, hand out the crossword puzzle which will deal with the upcoming unit
Assign the crossword puzzle for extra credit
Have the puzzle on hand for extra word for substitutes
