This is a great graphic organizer to help students describe objects. The top part of the graphic organizer is used to brainstorm words that describe the object or topic. Below the students write sentences using words from their brainstorming. There is also a line to write a topic sentence and closing sentence. After using this graphic organizer students can write a good descriptive paragraph. Students can use all their senses or in some cases only the ones that pertain to a particular topic or object. This is really beneficial for ELD students.
