There are 5 quizzes with 10 question each. I am giving these quizzes to our fifth graders during our 10 day STAAR review prior to the test. The students can earn incentive points (yards) based on the number of questions they have correct with strategies shown.
I tried by best to write these quizzes at the anticipated rigor of the new STAAR test. They cover the entire tested curriculum and serve as a good way to review everything that has been so rapidly covered.

The questions are good, but it would have been nice to have answer keys linked with objectives to go with the product.

I will try and be more clear than I was the first time. I purchsed your 5th Grade STAAR Reveiw quizes 1-5. When they downloaded they are your 5 free quizzes 1-5 I am wanting your 1-5 STAAR Review. Can you help on why what i purchased is actual your free quizzes and not the STAAR Quizzes. The cover sheet of the one i purchased says STAAR Review but when i downloaded it it says Review Quizzes 1-5

Yikes....I did not know that happened. The STAAR review quizzes are not the same as the review axes. I bet that when I updated the review quizzes I accidentally saved it to the wrong place with the names so similar. I will fix that tonight and it should be sent out that it is updated correctly. Thank you soooooo much for bringing this to my attention. I will make it right! :).

I purchased the The 5th grade STAAR Review Quizzes 1-5 these does not match the one i looked at before purchasing. The one i saw is totally different than the one you have for display. it shows to even have a different cover sheet than the one i purchased. The one on display is more of what i was looking for. Question #1 on test 1 was Marcy was baking some cookies that require ect. the ones that downloaded test 1 is which number is less than 652,1793,948. Please let me know how to purchase the STAAR Review Quizes it says i purchased those but mine read review quiz.

I had the same question about answer keys. I agree that it does save me time to NOT have to create the questions, but I need that additional time savings of having the answer keys too so I am glad future postings will have the answers.

I do not have answer keys made at this time. I apologize, but to be honest I have never made answer keys. As a math Facilitaor I want my grade level teachers to work the problem prior to giving the quizzes so that they are aware of where the student might get stumped before they give the quiz, not after. I am making sure that all my new postings will have answer keys.

My husband and I have a combined total of 26 years of experience in education. I have 15 years education experience ranging from 1st - 5th grade in all subject areas, but my love is creating math materials for elementary school. I have been a math facilitator for the past 5 years at a Title I school in Texas where I have learned the importance of assessing students at the level of rigor needed to increase student achievement. Writing assessments is my expertise. My husband has been teaching high school Algebra, Algebra II, and PreCal for the past 13 years helping to increase Algebra scores from 40% to 80% in some sub population groups. We love the opportunity to share what we have created to help students be more successful.
