I use Shiver Me Letters, The End, The Dog Who Cried Wolf, Bad Kitty, and Problems with Pete the Pencil and Eddie the Eraser. However, you could use my ideas and modify them to work with other books. For example, Shiver Me Letters is an ABC book, so any other interesting ABC book would work. Or, Bad Kitty is used for word choice because it has very unique words (instead of fun, said, cool), but any book that you love and find interesting words in would work for the read and follow up writing. Hope this helps!

Or, Bad Kitty is used for word choice because it has very unique words (instead of fun, said, cool), but any book that you love and find interesting words in would work for the read and follow up writing. i'm new to this site so don't know the ins and outs, but interested in your 6 trait lessons...
Do you need specific picture books to read to the class in order to do the lessons? could you tell me what books are required (i live isolated overseas and can NOT get many books, so i need to ensure that i have them already)
