Wow, what a packet! I was so excited to see how many different pages I could use with themes I already have. I was excited to bring in some new ideas, too.

I love all of the activities, they are fabulous! I do wish it was 20 words instead of 16. My kids actually have 24 words each week.

This is a great book loaded with excellent alternatives to simply writing the words!! I wish one could customize the number of words; I give my students 20.

I have always used unique spelling homework ideas for my students. They love doing something new with the words. This will help to add some new flair! Thanks
Thanks for providing this. My only suggestion would be to make pages that work for 20-30 words (maybe you could continue just the words part onto the next page). Our 1st graders have 10 words, 2nd and 3rd have around 25 and I'd love to keep using these for longer!
Fantastic! I love having differentiated and varied assignments to give students a twist on practicing spelling too.

I love these activiities, I use them for my gifted/talented students this year but plan on using with all of them next year. I have a twenty word list too, but I just have my students add the other words on the back or just choose the ones that they missed on the pretest to practice. Thank you!
Your kids are lucky to have you for a teacher! I am sure that you work hard to find fun, varied and differentiated products that extend their thinking and challenge them at the same time.

I have these in my classroom for independent spelling work while I am working with a small group, or for when I have a sub. Some students like them so much that they ask if they can do them for spelling homework. Lots of creative choices.
I give my students a spelling menu each week which gives them different ways to do their spelling homework. I LOVE your ideas and can't wait to add them to my spelling menu!! I tried one out in class with the kids (the telephone number one) and they loved it! It really had them thinking! Great ideas!
Some of the activity pages are advanced for the grade I am teaching but i was able to use many of them.... there are great ideas to motivate student to practice and learn their spelling words.

Some of the pages print odd, very stretched to fit the page....or is that just my printer? Overall the ideas are wonderful and very fun for the weekly spelling grind :o) Even though it said 2nd grade and up and I teach 1st I found MANY activities that I can use without making any adjustments or in class practice before sending it as homework or classwork. The other activities are still very useable with a few practice runs as a class. Great ideas!!
Please send me an e-mail at beverlyteacher@aol.com, and I will be happy to help you with any of the pages that may have printed funny. (They print fine at my house, so I'm not positive why this was happening.) I could try to send you some individual activities vs. in the entire packet. Let me know if I can help!

I found one typo in my first quick look-through. The reading series I use has 20 spelling words plus 5 Challenge words, so I will need to adapt the pages to work for me. Overall, this product provides some great ideas that will add new interest to my usual spelling homework. Thanks!
I appreciate your feedback; however, the product description does state that the spelling activities are based on a 16 word list. I will be sure to review the information for a typo, and revise it immediately. However, I do feel your ratings for this product should have been higher. Please e-mail me at beverlyteacher@aol.com if I can assist you in revising the product for your spelling list.
