As a teacher who always tries to make learning fun and memorable I was caught off guard when given the challenge to teach the 8 parts of speech to 11 year old children. How can that be fun? What could I do to make grammar fun and exciting? That is easy...mix it with a creative fun project that involves PIZZA! This activity is sure to be one that your students will always remember as well as serve as a great instructional or review tool. Hey, teaching needs to be fun for the teachers too!
