About Seller

The collection of World History word searches covers a variety of people, places, ideas, and events throughout history. There are word searches for:
Mesopotamia
Ancient Egypt
History of China
History of Japan
History of India
Ancient Greece
Ancient Rome
The Middle Ages
The Renaissance

Students tend to enjoy doing word searches, but the collection can serve other functions. For example, they can be used to introduce a unit. Students can see how many of the words on the sheet they know before beginning the unit. On the other hand, they can do the word search and then have a library scavenger hunt to find out what everything is.

The word searches can be used as a review tool as well. Even if there are a couple of terms or people that you don't happen to cover, the search can still be a reminder of some key facts from the unit. They might even be helpful to ease the kids into study mode for final exams.

If all else fails, use the word searches as a back-up for part of sub plans. I hope the students enjoy the word search collection. Remember, it's not as much about their ability to locate a word as it is to know what the word actually is.
