This packet includes 9 fun math games that align with common core standards and can be used to practice a variety of important math skills.

The games were all designed to be easy for the teacher to make and easy for the children to play individually or groups of two/three. They have been used successfully in my first grade classroom and altered as needed to be more user-friendly for my students. The games have simple written directions.

9 math games included:

1. Ways to make a number

2. Place Value Match-up

3. Counting by 2's

4. Counting by 5's

5. Find the missing addend

6. Hundreds chart puzzle

7. Even and Odd number sort

8. Counting up and back (number patterns)

9. Comparing Numbers

Liv,
I love these centers! My students noticed an error on some of the tens/ones word cards. 52 was written as 5 tens (without the ones) The same is true for 54 (5 tens no ones) and 67 (6tens and no ones).

Thanks so much for letting me know!!! The ones layer became hidden behind the tens layer. have fixed the document and will post the updated file tomorrow when I have access to Internet, since I can't post it from my phone.

Thanks again for understanding and letting me know!
