This is teaching children their alphabet and the sounds through movement. The children sit in a circle. The teacher call a child to the center of the circle. She asks the child what is his/her name. The child says his/her first name. The teacher shows a letter card that matches the child's name. She tells him the name of the letter and the sound that it makes. The child then begins to move to the called movements in the chant with the other children singing and clapping. Each child gets a turn and follows the same process.
