Your students will have great fun sorting the true and false number sentences with the little leprechaun. This center includes two sets of equations/number sentences to sort:
*number facts
*greater than, less than or equal to (numbers to 60)
Sorting mats are included as well as a recording sheet for your students to record their answers AND correct the false equations.

I would enjoy seeing something similar to this activity except using addition and subtraction equations such as 3 = 4 = 8 (false) or 5 + 4 = 3 + 6 (true). Otherwise nice and quick center to put together and use.

I love the activity you created. My grade level team has a rotation day before we go on any long break. Our theme for this one is St. Patrick's Day and this will be perfect for the math rotation. I too often have the students "making" their own math problems to solve. It was really nice to see an activity the student's have to evaluate for accuracy and then "fix".

I taught in an independent school in Port Elizabeth, South Africa for 16 years prior to the birth of my daughter.
