This triplet/story comparison is to be used with the short story, "A Child, a Dog, the Night" which is found in most high school literature books. "The Carpenter's Gift" and a quote is included in your download. Included is 4 questions for "A Child...", 3 questions for "The Carpenter's Gift", 2 questions for the quote, and 1 question relating all three. This triplet/story comparison will help prepare students for state mandated tests, especially the Texas TAKS test.
