Mrs. Miner 's Monkey Business presents this fun disguise the turkey unit that most classrooms do as a family project. It includes all of the basics that make it so easy for you to implement this project in your classroom. It also has many follow up activities based on the project including many different level writing activities, webs, trading cards for students to make, retelling puppets as well as 40 different types of awards to stick on each turkey so EVERYONE is a winner. There is even a template for children to recreate their project on a book page to make a class book for the children to remember this fun project all year long (oh, and the cover is provided as well!). Absolutely love this! Parents loved the opportunity to work on this project with their child. I had students write a story about their disguise--then we turned it into a photostory and published on our school's webstie. Lots of great feedback was given!
