Quick recognition of sight words is important in building overall oral reading fluency.
This Feast of Phrases game is not only fun for students to play, but is a useful tool in building quick, accurate sight word recognition as students practice reading sight word phrases.

This game is super easy to set up. Simply print all cards on cardstock, cut out, laminate if you choose, and teach your students how to play.
How to play: Students draw cards out of a container and read the phrase, if they read it correctly, they get to keep it, if they draw out a "feast is over" card, they must place all their cards back in the container. The student with the most cards at the end of playing time is the winner!
