This is an assessment/comprehension notebook that I created as a companion to the novel "A Gebra Named Al", a novel that can be used in a mathematics or science classroom. The book centers around a young girl who accidently enters a magical land of math and science. This notebook contains vocabulary terms, in which the students use context clues to define & draw an example of each word, as well as comprehension questions for each chapter. I spent about two weeks on this lesson, a chapter a day. In addition to the comprehension notebook, I came up with daily activities that corresponded to the math and science "topics" found in each chapter.
