In this lab activity students will be challenged to:
1. describe and explain
2. classify and sequence
3. observe and infer
4. compare and contrast
5. recognize cause and effect
6. interpret scientific illustrations
as they use photographs to investigate and understand various glacial features and landforms.
This was a great idea, however, the pictures of the glaciers were too dark for my students to even see. Therefore, it was not able to be used in my classroom because it was too confusing to ask them about a landform they were trying to see through the darkness.
I understand that the photos in the Glacier Field Trip lab were too dark. These photos were intended for replication on a copy machine so the contrast level could be adjusted down if necessary. Did you use them as power point slides? If so, consider replicating the photos on a copy machine and lighten them up then make slides out of them.
If that doesn't work, let me know and I will try and do something from this end because I stand by all my products. I am sorry you had this problem and will do what is necessary to make it right.
