This writing and craft activity is perfect to use during a study of habitats. Students will use what they've learned in lessons about the desert habitat and the adaptations both plants and animals have in order to live in the arid and often hot environment.
This unit includes an assortment of writing activities to meet the various needs of K-2 students.
It includes quality blacklines (not hand drawn) that are ready to copy onto corresponding construction paper - to make prep work easy.
It is aligned with common core standards.
