Think about how quickly our students learn the words to their favorite songs! Original songs, raps, and chants incorporating multiplication facts 0-9 will make the repetition more fun and interesting. These songs were a result of an action research project which showed significant student progress after using two of the songs for only two weeks. Imagine what your students can achieve if you use them periodically during the entire school year!

Just completing my thirty-second year of teaching, music is my passion. Having taught in both private and public schools, I have taught piano, voice, chorus, and general music in grades six through twelve. I have also worked with preschool children. I am currently composing choral works and hope to see some of my compositions published in the future.
