This is a reading activity that includes everything a teacher would need to conduct literature circles for this novel. Included in this document are the chapters the students will need to read on a daily basis and a detailed description of each of the six jobs in literature circles (artful artist, character captain, word wizard, passage picker, discussion director, and connector).
There is also an easy to use template to assign students daily jobs, end of the book project choices, and chapter-by-chapter key vocabulary. We know you and your students will find these activities enjoyable and useful!
