A Reading In Unlove - The poem and questions to go along with it

This is a sad poem about a young boy that grows up during the course of the poem. It's an anonymous poem written in the 1970's but I find that my students can still relate to it. April is National Poetry Month so I'm going to use this poem and several others this month with my students. The subject matter in this poem is for more mature students. I would use this poem with 11th and 12th graders. A poem like this can stand alone or could be tied in with a novel such as The Catcher in the Rye.
