Thank you!! Have you used the student packet that was once on the school website? Everything that is in the student packet is included in the product you just purchased. If you will send me your e-mail address, I can e-mail you the student packet that I had on the school site. It won't include any corrections or updates, but it is a little easier to make copies for the class.

My students are loving it. They keep asking for more!
Holes is such a wonderful book! I love it when my students ask for more. It feels like you're just doing something right. Enjoy ;>)

This unit is very thorough. It stands alone and if you don't want to do any extras you don't need to. Will definitely look at other packages. I have used her Hatchet unit as well. Way more practical than some of the store bought novel studies. Paragraph writing lessons were great although I didn't use them all.
You just made my day! I just revised Holes to include the constructive response questions. I also had a proofreader go through it. I love this book. I hope your students enjoy it as much as mine always do.
Fantastic resource -- tied to Common Core and so helpful! This is great for my sixth grade classroom and challenges them to think outside the box. This provides not only reading comprehension skill practice, but a variety of other ELA skills as well. GREAT find!!!
I spent enough time looking through the Holes lessons that I could have written my own Holes lesson! So I took my time and I am SO GLAD i bought your work. Your packet is worth the 9 dollars I paid. It is super impressive and well done! I encourage others to purchase your work. I appreciate the standards listed on certain activities and you did not leave anything out!

QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS:
I purchased this resource as I was interested in doing the "dig" with my class. There is nothing provided for this activity other than photos. I would like to know the clues that were used as well as what is in the bags. Is this possible?
Many of the bags were empty to represent the holes that would be empty. Five had items related to the story including a fish fossil, a very old can of peaches, plastic lizards, a small wooden treasure chest, and a gold lipstick tube. If you will send your e-mail address to email@example.com, I will e-mail you the clues.

Does the Holes lesson unit include the power point presentations you previously included on your web site?
A Resource Guide to use with Holes is a pdf file. It contains the vocabulary, comprehension, and lessons, but nothing that is interactive. The PowerPoints I had on the MCE Site contain song clips, clipart, etc. that I could not place in a file that I sell. You can e-mail me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
