When assigning the groups to put Gene on trial for Finny's murder, I give them a detailed description and examples of every part of the case. The Opening Statements, the Direct and Cross Examination questions and answers, and the Closing Statements. I explain the rules of the trial and give them the deadline for when they must submit all of their pre-trial motions (our term for the written aspects of their presentation).
