I made 3 versions of writing paper with picture boxes so that you can choose which one would work for your class.
--3 Lines
--4 Lines
--Single Lines
Each has 4-5 sheets of paper choices beginning with large picture boxes and just a few lines....to no picture box and writing lines only.
I know that as a Kindergarten Teacher, I need to adjust the type of writing paper available for my students. At the beginning of the year, when they are new to writing....I like to use lots of picture space, and just a few lines of writing. I gradually change the paper as the year progresses, so that before they know it...my students are filling up the writing paper without feeling anxious or intimidated by all of those lines!
You can choose whether to use the papers with or without the date space available. Also, the writing papers without the name/date are made for double copying onto the back of the papers with picture boxes once your students are ready for that many lines to be filled.
I just love to see my students' growth in writing throughout the year!

This is my 12th year of teaching. I am in my 7th year of Kindergarten, and I love it! I began teaching in Texas 18 years ago as a Bingual Education Teacher (2 years in 1st Grade, and 1 year in Pre-Kindergarten). When my family moved to Colorado, I taught at my children's private pre-school for 2 years. Once we moved to Florida, I became a stay at home mom (again...I had taken some time off in Texas) until our 3rd child went to Kindergarten. That's when I became a Kindergarten teacher, and I found out that it is my favorite grade to teach! We now have 4 children, and I'm always trying to balance between being a mom and being a teacher!
