Give your middle school students an opportunity to understand terms and phrases important to Thanksgiving. This A-Z book is a great contextualized way to teach the Common Core reading and language standards of unknown words and phrases as well as concrete and abstract nouns, like journey and gratitude. For each page, there is space to create a picture and student friendly definition for each letter of the alphabet. Finished books are 8 1/2 x 5 1/2, and require not cutting for assembly, just folding and stapling (directions included).
