This assignment was used in my Advanced and regular World Geography classes. After completion of my mini-unit on the 5 Themes of Geography, students work together (as a class or as groups) to create the book. We also read from Dr. Seuss' A-Z book to get us started.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE
Subject Area:
I have taught all areas of Social Studies for eight years and English I-III for the past year. My experience ranges from teaching grades 6 through 12, and I have had all levels of classes, including Special Education collaboration and gifted and talented. I have also taught on an advanced curriculum team and honors/advanced classes at the high school level.
