Hi,
This is a collection of easy to read alphabet books to use with kindergarten and struggling first graders (at the beginning of the year). There is a color and a black and white copy book for each letter of the alphabet with a focus on color words and kindergarten Popcorn words. Each book has 8 pages of text along with a picture of an item beginning with the letter.
How I teach each book:
1. I model reading the book to the children
2. We highlight the special letter the books focus is on (for example: if the book is "I can see a..." then we will use highlighters or a light colored crayon to highlight all of the a's in the book.
3. Next we popcorn around each of the popcorn words to reinforce
4. Finally, we color the color words and if using the black and white books, students can also color the pictures according the to text.

Fabulous little alphabet books! You will be hooked on these as I am. I really like it that you included a colored copy and a black and white version. Super graphics and excellent text using the sight words. Perfect alphabet books! Thank you! KC
