I appreciate your giving this to us for free however I was disappointed that the pictures don't match the words. I printed several copies in color and even laminated them before I noticed this. Is is possible to match the words with pictures so it will be more appropriate in a first grade class? Thanks, Stephanie

I'm so sorry that this did not meet your expectations. The pictures were designed to just be child-centered thematic winter clip art, rather than illustrations that went with each word. Unfortunately, I was not able to locate appropriate clipart that clearly illustrates each of the winter words, while still providing enough examples to give sufficient practice in the alphabetical order task.

I've been teaching for 26 years, with the majority of my experience being in first grade. I taught Reading Recovery for 5 years, and that experience has impacted every day of my teaching since! For the past 10 years, I've enjoyed teaching a first grade literacy intervention class. It has also been my privilege to present various workshops on literacy topics at the local, state, and national level. My goal is to ignite a passion for reading and writing in young learners.
