This resource contains 15 printable pages of thematic materials to use in your K-5 classrooms.
There are 4 full color printables to be used as class book covers or as titles on your bulletin boards when displaying the student writing.
I carefully design each of my writing kits to include differentiated versions of my webs, draft paper and final copy pages to make it easy for you to modify within your current class and to be timeless enough to use if you change grade levels.
My goal is to create resources that save teachers time and money. I make them affordable and easy to prepare. I also strive to make the kits visually appealing, yet design them to look good when copied in black and white because I know printer ink is expensive.
This packet includes:
-a page to brainstorm ideas
-top down webs to help organize the writing for a simple paragraph, a detailed paragraph, and multi-paragraph writing
-a traditional web with spokes for brainstorming / planning writing
-primary and intermediate ruled draft paper (with space for teacher edits)
-primary and intermediate ruled final copy writing paper
-2 writing / illustrating pages (primary and intermediate ruled writing pages with a space to illustrate the writing)

I like to display the student work as a bulletin board and then turn it into a class book when I take it down by sliding their writing into page protectors and putting them into a binder with the printable on the cover. At the end of the year, I remove all of the pages and send them home with the authors.

Over the years I have worked my way up from Preschool to Kindergarten to 1st, 2nd and 3rd. I've been in third grade for 6 years and simply adore teaching this age. My experiences have included inner-city and neighborhood schools in the suburbs. I've loved both for different reasons.
