Create authors, not writers, in your elementary school classroom by having students fill out one of these sheets each and every time they publish their writing. You can even include a photograph of them on the "About the Author" Page instead of the boy or girl clip art, which is presently on the page.
You can have students write their own "About the Author" Page or allow writing partners to write each other's "About the Author" Page.
