This crossword focuses on Civil War trivia, everything from "Union general famous for Little Big Horn" (Custer) to "Ailment known as the Virginia Quickstep" (diarrhea). Students won't know all of the answers, but, as with all crosswords, words are slowly revealed as students work. Use it as a quick research project, or pair the two crosswords and organize a competition--one group against another. Fun but enlightening, too!
