This document is a list of more than 100 different action strategies you can use in K-12 classrooms for all subjects. For example, to bring a novel to life and make a meaningful and engaging performance assessment students could participate in a character tea party, create a medical report or resume to understand character traits, or even play good angel/bad angel to demonstrate internal conflicts. I place this list at the front of every unit in language arts and pick several to use as formative assessments throughout the unit.
