My students enjoy using these bookmarks as well. I teach how to use them after I have taught and students have had much practice with each active reading strategy. I use the Active Reading Cube Group Activities CCS RL.5.1 & SL.5.1 that are listed on my site to give students practice and it really helps them to connect with the strategy. Hope your students enjoy reading actively!

My students love them too! I use them after I teach the strategies by themselves. I use the Active Reading Cube Group Activities CCS RL.5.1 & SL.5.1 to introduce and practice the skills. My students love the idea of rolling a cube and the questions provided get them thinking in various ways! I'm glad they are having fun with them!
