This Power Point presentation was designed for my Fourth Grade Social Studies Class. It's very valuable in understanding and explaining the root causes of the American Revolution. Each slide explains what the Act of British Parliament taxed, when the Act was in effect, and how it effected the colonists. The Acts of Parliament covered in this Power Point are: The Sugar Act, The Stamp Act, The Quartering Act, The Currency Act, The Navigation Act, The Townshend Act and The Intolerable Acts. This is a non-linear Power Point. After viewing each slide, it returns to the home slide. This presentation works well for a class discussion or as a test review. I used it on my Smart Board, and it worked very well!
